So today at work I had a parent come in the room. She said that sometimes her daughter asks her questions she doesn’t know the answers to. What she does is tells her daughter to “Go ask Mrs. Ambrose”. Now I do not know what made me an authority on anything but it does make my heart happy to know that people trust me enough to let me lead their children. So yesterday that same child asked her mom, “If God made us, who made God?” Moms response was “Go ask Mrs. Ambrose.” Well, that is such a hard question to answer but here is how I answered it. I told mom, “God just is. He is the truth and light. He is everything.” I am not sure how else to answer that question but perhaps God will someday be able to answer that. I can’t wait to see what other questions this child has for me.
