And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you–you of little faith? So you do not worry, saying ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:28-34
So tonight at the Innjoy Christmas Dinner Theater we had a little crisis. As I stood in the kitchen and we realized that the lasagna was not cooking this section of scripture came to me. The ladies that were in the kitchen with me were all trying to figure out how to get it cooked. Of course my personality does not allow me to worry to much about stuff like that. I thought, “Whats the big deal?” Everyone was going to be there until 8 at least so we definitely had time. Abby and I stood there and said its gonna be all right. This isn’t a big deal. And guess what it was alright. Dinner was served right on time. We didn’t have to worry because this wasn’t our program it was God’s program. He was in charge and as usual if God is at the forefront of anything it will be successful. He knows our hearts and He’s got this!
